We only collect the minimum information required to operate BeepOff and provide support.
1.1 Information you provide manually
When you contact us using a form or by email, you may choose to provide:
- Name
- Email address
- Vehicle model
- VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
- Message text or support request details
We do not automatically collect VIN or other vehicle identifiers from the module or app. We only receive this information if you choose to send it to us.
1.2 Configuration & preference data
The BeepOff module and app store your chosen comfort and driver-assistance settings, such as:
- Stop-start behaviour
- Lane assist behaviour
- Speed warning preferences
- Similar comfort and driver-assistance options
These configuration settings may be stored in our secure cloud so that your module and app stay in sync. They are linked to a module or device, not to a named user account.
1.3 Installer information
For authorised installers, we store:
- Installer login details (such as email and password)
- Basic business information
- Activation logs that record which installer configured which module
End-customer personal details are not shown in the installer portal.
1.4 Local logs
The BeepOff module and app may generate technical logs for diagnostics. These logs stay on the device unless you choose to share them with us for support. They are not automatically uploaded.
2. What we do not collect
BeepOff does not collect or use:
- Analytics or usage tracking
- Advertising identifiers
- Location data
- Driving behaviour or trip history
- Automatic VIN or CAN bus history uploads
- Crash reports sent to our servers

We use the information we do collect only to:
- Provide and operate the BeepOff hardware and app
- Store and apply your configuration settings
- Authenticate and support installers
- Respond to support requests
- Prevent misuse and protect the BeepOff ecosystem
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Configuration data and installer account details are stored securely in the cloud. We keep this data only for as long as it is needed to operate the service and meet legal or warranty obligations. Support emails and form submissions are kept only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.

- Trusted service providers who host our cloud systems, under strict data protection terms.
